Thiruvananthapuram: The Student Federation of India (SFI) Kerala State President, K. Anusree, has extended an apology to the family of Siddharth, a veterinary college student of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University campus in Pookode who lost his life after being beaten by some of his seniors and SFI activists on February 18th. The SFI State President, K. Anusree, went to Siddharth’s house and apologized to Siddharth’s father and mother. SFI Central committee member E. Afzal revealed this during a channel debate.
During the debate, Central Committee member E. Afzal said that those who belong to our organisation have done what they should not have done. He emphasised that failure to guide SFI activists according to the organisation’s principles cannot be accepted. We cannot accept this even if it is an isolated incident. We apologise for what happened, and what SFI activists did on campus was wrong, and we accept it.
