Wayanad: Two students of Pookod Veterinary College were suspended for giving statements of witnessing Siddharth’s death following a mob trial by SFI activists. Ajith Aravindakshan and Amaresh Bali were the suspended students. Additionally, the suspended students were also evicted from the hostel. Furthermore, students who were suspended have lodged a complaint with the Governor, seeking intervention in the matter.
Meanwhile, Siddharth’s father, Jayaprakash ,came forward, demanding the withdrawal of the students’ suspension. Jayaprakash expressed doubts about whether the children’s lives are in danger.
Siddharth, a native of Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram, was found hanged in the hostel bathroom on February 18. Six individuals have been identified as the main accused in Siddharth’s death and have been taken into police custody. However, Sinjo Johnson, Ameer Akbarali, Soud Risal, Adhithyan, Kashinathan RS, and Danish have since been released on bail.
