Stockholm: Nobel Peace Prize of the year 2019 has been declared and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed wins the award. Abiy Ahmed is awarded for his tireless attempts to ” achieve peace and international cooperation and in particular for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighboring Eritrea.” informed the Norwegian Nobel Committee.
Abiy Ahmed Ali signed the peace agreement with Eritrea in 2018 and that made the end to the war between two countries, Ethiopia ans Eritrea, that stretched for two decades.
