Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Dawood Malik shot dead by unknown assailants

KARACHI: In an incident of yet another targeted killing, Dawood Malik, a close aide of Jaish-E-Mohammad founder Masood Azhar and the founder of Lashkar-e-Jabbar, was assassinated by unidentified assailants. The incident occurred in Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

The attack took place while Dawood was at Dr. Khurshid’s clinic, and the assailants managed to flee the scene successfully after the shooting. Dawood Malik, a resident of Musaki village, was rushed to THQ Hospital, Mir Ali after being shot, but doctors declared him brought dead.

Last week, Shahid Latif, the mastermind of the Pathankot terror attack, was killed in a similar manner in Pakistan. An unknown assailant opened fire in Eminabad More near Gujranwala, Pakistan. It is reported that the assailant arrived on a motorbike and then opened fire.
