Cyclone Tej has reached Yemen. It hit Yemen’s Al Mahra province between 2:30 AM and 3:30 AM today, causing heavy rain and strong winds. The government has issued warnings for Oman’s Dhofar and Al Wusta provinces due to heavy rain and strong winds, with wind speeds reaching up to 150 km per hour.
Meanwhile, Cyclone Hamoon, which formed in the Bay of Bengal yesterday, is expected to become more powerful and hit the coast of Bangladesh in the coming hours. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning about the possibility of rain along the Indian coasts until Friday due to winds moving in a northeast direction.
