British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak celebrates Diwali with his family at 10 Downing Street

England: Prime Minister Rishi Sunak celebrated Diwali with his family. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, along with his wife Akshata Murthy, lit the lamps at 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the UK Prime Minister. He had shared glimpses of the celebrations on social media.

The Diwali festivities at 10 Downing Street were attended by many important people, including Members of Parliament, prominent industrialists, and Bollywood stars. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and his wife Kyoko arrived at the occasion, presenting Rishi Sunak with a Ganesha idol and a cricket bat autographed by renowned cricketer Virat Kohli.

By sharing pictures and videos of Diwali celebrations, Rishi Sunak extended wishes to all those celebrating Diwali in the UK and around the world.
