Riyadh: Al Nassr, the Saudi Arabian football club, has made waves in the football world with a stunning acquisition, securing the services of Spanish superstar Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City. This high-profile transfer was completed with a substantial transfer fee of 30 million euros, underscoring Al Nassr’s ambition and commitment to strengthening their squad.

Laporte, a versatile defender known for his exceptional skills and versatility, is set to join Al Nassr on a multi-year contract. As part of the agreement, the Spanish international is expected to receive an impressive salary package of 25 million euros, which will extend until 2026.

The 27-year-old Laporte, who has previously made 180 appearances for Manchester City, including crucial matches in the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and Premier League, brings a wealth of experience and talent to his new club. His 22 caps for the Spanish national team further solidify his reputation as a top-class defender.

In addition to the Laporte signing, Al Nassr is reportedly on the verge of acquiring yet another renowned talent, Otavio, who is currently Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate in the Portuguese national team. Otavio, a dynamic attacking midfielder, has been plying his trade with FC Porto since 2016.

The ambitious club has allegedly tabled a substantial offer of 60 million euros to secure Otavio’s services. This bid not only underscores Al Nassr’s determination to assemble a formidable squad but also highlights their willingness to invest in top-tier talent. Otavio has made 14 appearances for the Portuguese national team and was named in Portugal’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
