KUALA LUMPUR:  The anticipation of football enthusiasts has been answered with a resounding affirmative as Brazilian football icon Neymar is set to make his way to India. The celebrated star, currently associated with Saudi club Al Hilal, will be in action as his team faces off against Indian Super League (ISL) side Mumbai City FC in the upcoming AFC Champions League encounter.

In a significant development, Neymar’s Al Hilal and Mumbai City FC have been drawn together in Group D of the AFC Champions League. This much-awaited draw was conducted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and it brought to light the exciting prospect of the Brazilian maestro gracing Indian soil for a competitive football match.

The group stage of the AFC Champions League sees Mumbai City FC and Al Hilal placed alongside Iran’s FC Nassaji Mazandaran and Uzbekistan’s Club Navbahor. This group arrangement sets the stage for exhilarating clashes that will captivate football enthusiasts across the region.

The much-discussed anticipation of a potential face-off between Mumbai City and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nasr was quelled as fate aligned with Neymar’s current club, Al Hilal, in the draw. As a result, Indian fans will be treated to the rare privilege of witnessing Neymar in action on Indian soil.
