Ahmedabad: Narendra Modi Stadium is set to host the match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan this Saturday.
In anticipation of the clash between these cricketing giants, a massive security operation has been put in place to manage the overwhelming crowd, projected to exceed one and a half lakh spectators.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed the attendance of iconic figures such as Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rajinikanth. Recognising their significance, these legends have been presented with exclusive golden tickets worth Rs. 50,000 by BCCI Secretary Jai Shah.
Both Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth have already visited the stadium for India’s crucial matches. They have witnessed the excitement of the 2011 and 2016 World Cup encounters.
The game is scheduled to kicks off at 2 p.m. and is this match crucial for both teams in the group stage.
