Thiruvananthapuram: New images of former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni have gone viral on social media. The picture was captured during a training session. What caught the attention of fans was a sticker affixed to Dhoni’s bat, bearing the name “Prime Sports.”

This sticker holds sentimental value as it represents the name of Dhoni’s best friend’s shop in Ranchi. During the initial stages of his career, Dhoni was sponsored by Paramjit Singh, the owner of Prime Sports. These anecdotes were also portrayed in Dhoni’s biographical film,” MS Dhoni: The untold story”, showcasing the deep bond between the two.

Reports suggest that the Chennai Super Kings skipper may be gearing up for his farewell appearance in the upcoming season.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dhoni has amassed 5,082 runs at an impressive average of 38.79 from 250 IPL matches, with 24 half-centuries to his credit. The 42-year-old cricketer led the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth title victory in the previous season.
