Ernakulum: The Kerala Blasters FC showed a remarkable comeback against FC Goa at the Kaloor Stadium, clinching a thrilling 4-2 victory against FC Goa . After a challenging first half where Blasters trailed by two goals, they hit back in the second half to claim a sensational win in front of the yellow army (Kerala Blasters fans) on their home ground.

The first half saw FC Goa utilizing the gaps in the Blasters defense, with Rowllin Borges striking early to give his team the lead in the seventh minute. The pressure intensified for Blasters as Mohammad Yasir doubled Goa’s advantage with a goal in the seventeenth minute, leaving the home crowd silent.

However, the second half witnessed a dramatic turnaround as the Kerala Blasters FC displayed a never-say-die spirit. Daisuke Sakai ignited hope for the team’s comeback by scoring a goal in the 51st minute.

As the game entered the final 10 minutes, Dimitris Diamantakos found the net in the 81st and 84th minutes. Just before the final whistle of regular time, Fedor Cernych scored a goal for the Blasters, assisted by Diamantakos. This victory marks the Blasters triumphant comeback after back-to-back defeats in away games. The victory propels the Kerala Blasters to fourth place in the points table, with 29 points from 16 matches, ahead of FC Goa, who have 28 points.
