New Delhi: Disney Plus Hotstar has announced that cricket lovers can enjoy watching the T20 World Cup for free on their mobile app. This move comes after the successful streaming of the ODI World Cup for free.
Previously, Hotstar delighted fans by broadcasting the 2023 Asia Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup for free. The streaming platform has now extended this offer to include the highly anticipated T20 World Cup.
Hotstar has revealed that viewers can watch all the T20 World Cup actions for free via its YouTube channel, with the matches being telecasted by Hotstar itself. However, access to the tournament through the website requires a subscription.
Scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 29, the T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by America and the West Indies. The tournament will feature 20 teams, and kick-off match will be played between USA and Canada. One of the most anticipated clashes of the tournament, the match between arch-rivals Bharat and Pakistan, is slated for June 9.
