Thiruvananthapuram: Cricket enthusiasts in Thiruvananthapuram are gearing up for the arrival of  Bharat-Australia teams today for the second T20I, scheduled to take place at Kariavattom Greenfield Stadium on Sunday evening. However, rain has cast a shadow over the much-anticipated event. The warm-up matches, conducted in the same venue ahead of the World Cup, were affected by adverse weather conditions. The first Twenty20 match at Visakhapatnam saw Team Bharat emerge victorious by two wickets against Australia.

Both teams will arrive in the capital city by 6:30 p.m. and will undergo training sessions at the Kariavattom Greenfield Stadium the following day. The potential for rain in the coming days in the capital has stirred worries among fans regarding the destiny of the T20 match.

Team Bharat has chosen the Hyatt Regency for their stay, while the Aussies are accommodated at Vivanta by Taj. Training schedules for both teams are set for Saturday, with the Australian team practicing from 1 pm to 4 pm and the Indian team taking the field from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Ticket sales for the upcoming T20 match have already commenced, with prices starting at Rs 375 for students and Rs 750 (inclusive of GST) for adults. Tickets can be conveniently purchased online through Paytm Insider.
