Thiruvananthapuram: In the midst of controversy surrounding Maldivian ministers allegedly insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the potential tourism of Lakshadweep, a video featuring former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has gone viral. The star cricketer, speaking at a private event, expressed his thoughts on travel and the importance of exploring the beauty within Bharat.
In the video, Dhoni states that it’s good to start exploring beautiful places within Bharat first. He talks about his experience in travelling to various places, saying that when he used to play cricket in international matches, cricket-related stuff always came first when he went to other countries.
“I do travel, but it’s not vacationing. I never get a vacation. Even when I used to play cricket, if I go to another country, there will be cricket there. My wife loves to travel a lot. We are planning trips now. But we want to start vacationing in Bharat . There are many beautiful places here itself. First, enjoy them all. Only then will we go to other countries,” Dhoni remarked in the video.
