Moscow: The death toll from the terrorist attack that occurred last night at the Crocus complex in the Russian capital, Moscow, has risen to 110. More than 100 people were also injured in the attack carried out by five armed terrorists. IS-Khorasan has claimed responsibility for the attack. Reports suggest that Putin’s military intervention, including in Syria, had angered IS-K terrorists, and the terrorist attack was their response.
Meanwhile, Russian Intelligence has detained 11 people in connection with the terror attack. Russia has stated that four of them were IS terrorists directly involved in the attack.
Countries including the European Union, France, Spain, Italy, and Bharat have condemned the Moscow attack. Reports indicate that the US Embassy had issued a warning about the terrorist attack two weeks ago, stating that the terrorists are targeting crowded places and concerts.
