Thiruvananthapuram: Serbian tennis sensation Novak Djokovic has once again etched his name in the annals of tennis history by becoming the oldest player to hold the coveted number one spot in the world rankings. At 36 years and 322 days old, Novak Djokovic has achieved this remarkable milestone. He is becoming 37 next week.

This latest feat adds to Novak Djokovic’s impressive resume, which already includes holding the record for the longest number of weeks played at No. 1, with a staggering 420 weeks. Surpassing the legendary Roger Federer’s previous record of 310 weeks, Novak Djokovic’s dominance in the tennis world is unparalleled. Additionally, he boasts an impressive tally of 24 Grand Slam titles, further solidifying his status as one of the greatest players of all time.

As Djokovic gears up to defend his French Open title, he is currently participating in the Monte Carlo Masters clay court tournament, marking his first major competition since parting ways with coach Goran Ivanisevic. With the French Open set to commence on May 26, fans eagerly anticipate witnessing Djokovic’s continued excellence on the court as he strives to maintain his reign as the world’s top-ranked player.
