Kollam: An employee who came on a bike to load money in a private ATM was hit by a car and robbed. The complaint says that Rs.13 lakh were robbed from the employee. The incident took place last night at 6:30pm in Viruthi, Maruthamon area of Pattazhi. The Scorpio car followed and hit the employee when he was on the way to ATM centers including Pattazhi.
The bag in which the money was kept and other items were found on the road side a kilometer away from the place where the incident took place. No one witnessed the crime because the incident took place at an uninhabited area. Gokul, native of Anthamon has been working as a part of a franchise for an year. Police informed that they are trying to locate the vehicle by collecting the CCTV footage from the area.
