Warangal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Kamisetty Venkat, a talented autistic singer, during his visit to Warangal. PM Modi commended Venkat for his remarkable talent and the determination to pursue his singing career despite his disability. In a tweet, PM Modi described Venkat as a “powerhouse of talent and youthful energy” and praised his fortitude.

During their meeting, Venkat sang and even danced to the song “Naatu Naatu.” PM Modi also took the opportunity to meet families who lost their loved ones to Left-wing extremism in Warangal, expressing his deep sympathy and admiration for their resilience.

In a public rally held earlier in Warangal, PM Modi strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the ruling BRS government, and the Congress party for their alleged corruption. He stated that the state was trapped in a web of dynastic politics and considered both the BRS and the Congress dangerous for the people of Telangana. PM Modi accused KCR of running the “most corrupt government” and highlighted the pervasive corruption under the dynastic rule of the Congress. He further asserted that the people of Telangana were witnessing similar graft under the BRS government.

During his visit, Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stones for various infrastructure and development projects worth Rs 6,100 crore in Warangal. He commended the people of Telangana for their significant contributions to enriching the country’s history. PM Modi acknowledged their dedication and emphasised their role in the nation’s progress.
