In a public rally held earlier in Warangal, PM Modi strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the ruling BRS government, and the Congress party for their alleged corruption. PM Modi accused KCR of running the “most corrupt government” and highlighted the pervasive corruption under the dynastic rule of the Congress. He further asserted that the people of Telangana were witnessing similar graft under the BRS government.
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stones for various infrastructure and development projects worth Rs 6,100 crore in Warangal. He commended the people of Telangana for their significant contributions to enriching the country’s history. PM Modi acknowledged their dedication and emphasised their role in the nation’s progress.
