Ernakulam: Man who brutally assaulted woman for withdrawing from the relationship was arrested. Jauhar Karim, a native of Muvatupuzha Randarkara Kottapadikal was the arrested. Twenty-seven-year-old divorcee, a native of Pothanad was the beaten up.
When the woman withdrew from the relationship, he kidnapped her and locked her in the room. She was then brutally beaten, raped and injured by shooting with an air pistol. The woman has gunshot wounds in various parts of her body. The accused is married and has 4 children. Police informed that the injured woman was admitted to the hospital.
