Ottawa: Canadian MP Chandra Arya says that Khalistan terrorists in Canada are targeting Hindus. Terrorists are demanding that Hindus in Canada should go to Bharat. He also said on X (Twitter) that Khalistan terrorists are constantly threatening and unleashing violence against Hindus.
Chandra Arya is a member of the ruling Liberal Party of Canada. The MP’s revelation about the threats faced by Hindus in Canada comes after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s pro-Khalistan remarks.
Chandra Arya appealed to all Hindu-Canadians to remain calm and vigilant . He has also asked the law enforcement agencies to be informed immediately in case of any untoward incident. “Khalistan terrorists are even attacking me. I have been attacked for more than ten months for hoisting the Om flag, a sacred symbol of Hinduism, on the hill where Parliament is located. We Canadians can be proud of our Hindu faith and heritage,” he added.
A few days ago, the president of Sikhs for Justice, a Khalistan terrorist organization, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, threatened Hindus to leave Canada and return to Bharat, Chandra Arya wrote in X.
He said that the Khalistan leader is trying to divide and provoke Hindu-Sikh communities in Canada. However, Arya stated that most Canadian Sikhs do not support the Khalistan movement. Most Sikh Canadians may not publicly condemn the Khalistan movement for several reasons. But they are deeply connected with the Hindu community, the MP said.
“Canada has high moral values and we fully uphold the rule of law.” He noted in X that he was disappointed with the ‘glorification of terrorism’ and the sanctioning of crimes in the name of ‘freedom of expression’.
