New Delhi: In a big diplomatic win for Bharat, a Malayali woman, Aan Tess Joseph (21) has been released from the Israel-linked cargo ship MSC Aries captured by Iran. Ann Tess Joseph reached Bharat through the Cochin International Airport. Her release was secured after joint meeting by the External Affairs Ministry and the Iranian Embassy here.
The External Affairs Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that her release was made possible after diplomatic discussions with Iranian officials. He added that efforts are going on for the release of the rest of the sixteen Indians held by Iran.
MSC Aries was captured by Iran on April 13th.
