Malappuram: A 13-year-old boy was found dead in a private farmland in Pookkottumpadam, Malappuram. Deceased was identified as Rahmatullah, son of Muttalib Ali, hailing from Assam.
Preliminary speculation points to a possible electrocution caused by the farm’s electric fence as the cause of death. The police reached the spot and initiated the inquest proceedings. The body will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
