Palakkad: A high school student died of a heart attack during an excursion. Sri Sayana, a class 10 student at MNKM Government Higher Secondary School in Pulappatta, passed away due to a heart attack. The incident transpired during their visit to Mysore.
On Monday night, while returning from their trip to the Mysore palace, Sri Sayana began to feel unwell. She was suddenly rushed to a nearby hospital, but her life could not be saved.
The pleasure trip involved a group of 150 individuals, comprising 135 students and 15 teachers, travelling in three buses. Following the demise of the student, the group decided to cut short their trip and return home.
