New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary, acknowledging Vajpayee’s significant contributions to nation-building. Modi highlighted Vajpayee’s unwavering dedication to the service of the nation, noting that his life continues to serve as an inspiration to all.
“On the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, crores of prayers are paid to him on behalf of all members of the country. He was a personality who dedicated his life to pave the way for nation-building. His life, dedicated to serving Bharatamba, will always be an inspiration,” remarked the Prime Minister in “X.”
Prime Minister Modi visited the ‘Sadaiv Atal’, the memorial of Vajpayee, this morning. Paying his respects, Modi offered floral tributes at the memorial. Accompanying him were Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda. The President and the Vice President also paid their respects at ‘Sadaiv Atal’.
