Malappuram: The Muslim League has taken disciplinary action against league leaders who participated in the Nava Kerala Sadas. State council member R Noushad and Pravasi League state secretary Kala Premi Basheer Babu are suspended by the league leadership.
R Noushad, who participated in the Nava Kerala Sadas in Chirayinkeezhu constituency, and Kala Premi Basheer, who attended Keraleeyam, have been suspended. During the events, R Noushad expressed his disagreement, stating that instructing members not to participate in the Nava Kerala Sadas was a mistake. He emphasised that the Nava Kerala Sadas serves as a platform for addressing grievances, and he participated as a representative of expatriates. While expressing a desire to remain in the league, R Noushad expressed uncertainty about the party’s decision regarding his membership status.
