Thiruvananthapuram: In the case of the suicide of a young woman named Shahana in Thiruvallam, Thiruvananthapuram, the police have arrested Shahana’s husband Naufal and his family. They were in hiding for three weeks.
The accused were apprehended from a house in Kandala near Kattakkada. They had been moving to states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The court will consider the bail application of the accused on the 25th of this month. Naufal and his family were caught when they returned to Thiruvananthapuram to gather information related to this.
Shahana committed suicide at her home in Thiruvallam on December 26. Relatives stated that the woman took her own life due to domestic violence. Naufal and his family went into hiding after the woman’s suicide.
