Malappuram: A government doctor was suspended for working in a private clinic during his duty hours. Dr. Abdul Jaleel P, an assistant surgeon at the government family health centre in Kuzhimanna, Malappuram district, has been suspended for working in a private clinic without fulfilling his duty hours at the government hospital.
The suspension comes after numerous complaints were filed, alleging that the doctor was practicing at a private clinic while officially on duty. An investigation into the matter revealed evidence supporting these claims.
Dr. Abdul Jaleel was arrested last Saturday during a vigilance check, leading to his suspension from government service pending further inquiries.
