United States: Lucid Motors has unveiled an innovative system named “Range Exchange,” allowing Lucid car owners to charge their vehicles from another electric car. This cutting-edge technology is set to redefine convenience for electric vehicle owners.
In the recently introduced vehicle-to-vehicle mode, other electric cars can be charged at a 9.6 kW rate. Lucid Motors guarantees that, this feature offers sufficient charge for other vehicles to travel at speeds up to 60 kilometres per hour. The procedure involves using a straightforward adapter cable, presenting a user-friendly solution for Lucid car owners.
Lucid cars already boast an impressive range compared to other electric vehicles on the market. The company proudly claims that the Lucid Air Dream Edition, in particular, can cover an average distance of 665 kilometres on a single charge. The efficiency of miles per kilowatt-hour (miles/kWh) is notably high in these luxury electric cars.
