Kochi: SurveySparrow, a fast-growing customer experience platform, announced today that it is extending remote-work policy with upto 30% hike in salaries to all its eligible employees in an effort to boost employee morale as the world is trying to cope with Coronavirus and its economic impact. The startup is on target to clock more than 30,000 customers by the end of 2020.

Remote work has come of age with this pandemic, and is posing the need to address many new challenges. According to a report from Korn Ferry, around 53% of organizations have now halted hiring, and 42% of the organizations have resorted to alternate options such as pay reductions or a lay off. Though the new trend towards remote working came as a surprise for many, a study by Global Workplace Analytics, reveals a 173% growth in working from home professionals since 2005.

As with many economic shocks, the obligatory transition towards remote culture has affected the organizations & teams unevenly. While shifting to a work from home setup, many organizations focus primarily on maintaining customer communication, often overlooking the need to keep active employee communications, team interactions, employee wellness & the culture intact. SurveySparrow has expanded & strengthened their internal collaboration & productivity tools to support their entire teams make the shift towards a virtual work environment, painlessly. From virtual logins to productivity tools to continuous peer recognition, SurveySparrow has ensured that the employees are fully equipped to adopt remote working to the best extent.

Recognising the need for a dedicated workspace with strong internet connection, SurveySparrow has equipped employees with internet connections and other necessities. Many studies that list out the negative impacts of remote working have pointed out the need to have comfortable furniture to boost employees’ mental and physical well being. SurveySparrow’s remote work policy also includes ensuring the employees have proper office ergonomic furniture delivered at their doorstep irrespective of the location. This has successfully helped their teams achieve work-life integration, by design.

“As an experience-oriented company, SurveySparrow has always believed in delivering refined experiences. We have not halted our hiring process or slowed down our expansion to be better. We owe it to our relentlessly working teams who stand by delivering nothing but wowes. And we had to appreciate their hard work”, said Shihab Muhammed, Founder & CEO, SurveySparrow.
