Bhubaneswar: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Tuesday successfully test fired its supersonic cruise missile BrahMos said defence officials. The missile was test-fired from Odisha coast.
The missile’s test firing target was a ship. It was launched with an advanced indigenously developed seeker.
The ramjet supersonic cruise is a medium-range missile which can be easily launched from submarines, ships, fighter jets or land.
