Jammu: Amid the ongoing standoff between India and China, Pakistan on the other side has been infiltrating more terrorists into India. Cross-border infiltration and militancy have increased along the LoC and Kashmir valley.
Owing to this situation, India is tightening its defences in Jammu and Kashmir. This was discussed during high-level security meet held in Jammu on Thursday. Senior Army, police and para-military officers attended the meeting that was chaired by Dilbagh Singh, Director General of Police.
DGP also stressed upon the strenghthening of counterinsurgency and counter-infiltration grid to thwart all the action plan of Pakistan.
