New Delhi: With tensions mounting between India and Pakistan, the Indian Navy is ordered to stop its military exercises TROPEX and asked to get fully prepared.
The Indian Navy was conducting the military exercise with 40 warships when it was ordered to stop. Reports suggest that ships are asked to reach the ports of Mumbai, Karwar, and Visakhapatnam to load weapons to the maximum capacity and to stand alert.
Normally warships are not loaded with weapons to its maximum capacity. The TROPEX military exercise was due to end on March 14th, when the sudden order cut it short. TROPEX is a military exercise with active participation by the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy, and the Coast Guard.
