New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized that maintaining cleanliness in our surroundings begins with cultivating pure thoughts, setting clear goals, and demonstrating responsible behavior. He emphasized the importance of advancing the central government’s vision of ‘Swachh Bharat’ (Clean India). The Union Minister addressed a public program held in Delhi Cantonment as a vital component of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign.
We must wholeheartedly commit ourselves to achieving the vision of a ‘Clean India’ set forth by the Narendra Modi government, working with unwavering zeal and dedication. I extend my congratulations to all the officers of the Defense Accounts Department on the occasion of its Foundation Day. He expressed that such efforts are truly commendable.
As part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign, a dedicated team of over 20,000 personnel diligently cleaned more than 1,100 offices and residential areas. Numerous awareness classes were conducted to emphasize the significance of cleanliness. Cleanliness drives have been launched in numerous institutions and organizations affiliated with the Ministry of Defense and Services throughout the country. The event was graced by the presence of Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Financial Adviser Rasika Chaubey, and CGDA SG Dastidar.
