Thiruvananthapuram: Actress Amala Paul, who portrays the character of Sainu, the wife of Prithviraj’s character, Najeeb, in the upcoming movie ‘Aadujeevitham,’ recently shared her experiences of working on the film. She discussed the challenges and emotional depth of her role in an interview.
Amala Paul recognized that her physical transformation was simpler compared to Prithviraj’s role as Najeeb, a Keralite immigrant laborer facing slavery in Saudi Arabia. However, she emphasized the emotional challenges her character experienced. Sainu will be pregnant when Najeeb departs, grappling with mental anguish during their separation. The challenge intensified when Blessy put forth a demand for authentic emotion portrayal, set against the backdrop of 1980s Muslim culture.
Amala Paul expressed admiration for Prithviraj’s remarkable transformation into Najeeb, emphasising the film’s showcasing of his immense talent and saying that doing Najeeb’s character was the toughest process in this film compared to her character. She praised his portrayal, highlighting his previous underutilization of his acting prowess in certain films. Amala Paul eagerly awaits the film’s release, anticipating the complete portrayal of Prithviraj’s character.
