Box office report of film ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ is out

Thiruvananthapuram: The much-anticipated biographical film shedding light on the life of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, has made waves at the box office. Directed by debutant filmmaker Randeep Hooda, the film ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ has garnered widespread attention for its poignant portrayal of Savarkar’s journey.

In just six days since its release, the film has surpassed the Rs. 10 crore mark, indicating a resounding success at the box office. Randeep Hooda himself stars as Veer Savarkar, bringing to life the inspiring story of the iconic freedom fighter.

Released in both Hindi and Marathi languages, the film delves into the sacrifices and struggles endured by Vinayak Damodar Savarkar during Bharat’s  freedom struggle. Audiences have lauded the film for providing a clear understanding of Savarkar’s character and his unwavering dedication to the nation’s liberation.

With a collection of Rs. 10.06 crore thus far, the film has struck a chord with viewers, resonating deeply with its depiction of Savarkar’s sacrifices and commitment to Bharat’s freedom.

Starring Ankita Lokhande and Amit Sial in pivotal roles alongside Randeep Hooda, the film is produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Randeep Hooda, and Yogesh Rahar. Its success at the box office is a testament to the enduring legacy of Veer Savarkar and the compelling storytelling brought to life by Randeep Hooda’s directorial debut.

Amit Sial’s portrayal of Savarkar’s brother is captivating, and Ankita Lokhande’s performance as his wife is luminous. Audience have praised the exceptional portrayal of Gandhi and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in the film. Additionally, numerous scenes elicit strong emotional reactions from viewers.
