Thiruvananthapuram: The film ‘Aadujeevitham’ also known as ‘The Goat Life’, directed by Blessy, has set a new milestone in the Malayalam film industry by becoming the fastest film to collect Rs. 50 crore at the global box office, just four days after its release. This feat has surpassed the previous record held by Mohanlal’s ‘Lucifer’.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, the lead actor of the film, took to social media to share the exciting news with fans and followers. Trade analysts reported that ‘The Goat Life’ raked in an impressive Rs. 10 crore on its opening day, setting a new record for the highest first-day collection for a movie starring Prithviraj.

Not only did the film perform exceptionally well in its home state of Kerala, but it also made waves across other regions. ‘Aadujeevitham’ earned Rs. 1 crore in Karnataka on its opening day, setting a new benchmark for the highest first-day collection for a Malayalam film in the state. The movie also received positive responses from audiences in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh as well.

Produced by Visual Romance, ‘Aadujeevitham’ boasts a stellar cast including Amala Paul, K.R. Gokul, along with Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby in pivotal roles. Adding to its appeal, Academy Award winners A.R. Rahman and Resul Pookutty have contributed their talent to the film, providing music and sound design, respectively.
