Mumbai: Reports say that famous publicist of Aiswarya Rai Bachchan, Archana Sadanand, escaped a major fire accident when none other than Shah Rukh Khan came to the rescue. The incident happened at the Diwali party held by the Bachchans.
The accident occurred when Archana Sadanand’s lehenga caught fire from a lit lamp. Before the fire could spread Shah Rukh Khan rushed to her aid and doused the fire with his jacket. Archana suffered burn injuries to her hands and right leg while Shah Rukh Khan got minor burns while he tried to put out the fire.
According to reports the incident occurred at 3 am and only a few guests were around. While others were caught off guard when Archana’s dress caught fire, Shah Rukh Khan had the presence of mind to rush to her and douse the fire.
Archana Sadanand was admitted to the Nanvati Hospital and is recovering well. Khan had arrived at the party along with his wife Gauri Khan.
