Actress Shabana Azmi comes out in support of the film ‘The Kerala Story’. She said via Twitter that making controversy on a film which was approved by the CBFC is not ideal and it is wrong to ask a ban on the film. She also said that nobody has the right to be an extra constitutional authority after a film was approved by the Central.
The actress also expressed her opinion that some are opposing ‘The Kerala Story’ similarly to how last year others opposed to Aamir Khan’s film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.
The film which released last Friday is on a successful run in box-office. On Sunday itself, the film garnered around ₹16.50 crore which brought its total gross to more than ₹35 crore.
