The popular Korean boy band group BTS marks their 10 year journey on 13th of June, 2023. After going through numerous hardships and obstacles, today they’re one of the most popular and captivating bands in the world. As a treat for fans or as they call themselves BTS ARMY will be on cloud 9 to hear that their favourite boys are turning into co-authors.
The US publishing house, Flatiron Books has decided to bring out a book called Beyond The Story: 10 Year Record of BTS. The publishing house has decided to launch the book on July 9, 2023. The release date coincides with the day their fans celebrate BTS ARMY day.
The book was written by the seven members of the band, along with Korean journalist Myeongseok Kang. The book will be initially released in South Korea and afterwards an English translated version will be released in the United States.
Earlier there were speculations of a pop star publishing a book, and most people guessed the name to be that of Taylor Swift’s but it has been confirmed to be wrong now.
BTS has been in the entertainment field since 2013, and since then they have released six albums till now. In 2018, they even managed to hit #1 spot in the Billboards album chart, with their album Love Yourself: Tear and also in 2019 with their albums Love Yourself: Answers and Map of the Soul: Persona. This made them the first ever K-pop band who managed to do it. They are also one of the biggest voices who spoke against hate crimes on Asians.
