46th Kerala Film Critics Award: Darshana Rajendran and Kunchako Boban win best actor awards

The 46th Film Critics Awards for 2022 announced the winners for the films that were released last year. Kunchako Boban won the award for best actor for his performances in “Nna Thaan Case Kodu” and “Pakalum Paathiravum”, while Darshana Rajendran won the best actress award for her films, “Jaya Jaya Jaya He” and “Purushapretham.”

Director Mahesh Narayanan was awarded as the best director of 2022 for his film, “Ariyippu.”

“Headmaster,” directed by Rajeev Nath, and “B 32-44,” directed by Sruthi Saranyam, has been named the best films of 2022. Both of them will also be sharing the award for director of the best film.

Film Critics will also award the ‘Chalachitra Ratnam’ to veteran filmmaker K. P. Kumaran for his contributions to Malayalam cinema, and actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is awarded the Critics Ruby Jubilee Award for completing 50 years in cinema.

The award for Best Popular Film of 2022 goes to “Malikapuram” and “Nna Thaan Case Kodu.” Child artists Baby Devanandana for “Malikapuram” and Master Akash Raj for “Headmaster” were awarded as the best child artists.
