Mumbai: Gujarati TV actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay (34) was killed in a road accident after her car fell into a valley in Himachal Pradesh. The actress was widely known for her character in the popular TV series Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai. The news of her demise was shared by actor-producer JD Majethia.
As per reports, the actress was travelling along with her fiancé, Jay Suresh Gandi, who was injured but survived the accident.
Vaibhavi’s body will be shifted from Himachal to Mumbai, and after a public display, the funeral rites will be conducted.
Vaibhavi has also worked alongside actress Deepika Padukone in the 2020 film Chhapaak and was also a popular name in the Gujarati theatre circuit.
