The upcoming collaboration between actor Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram, titled ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ has been making frequent headlines for various reasons in recent months. The film has encountered alterations in its release date, script, and even rumours surrounding the choice of music director, suggesting a possible switch from Thaman to Anirudh Ravichander.
According to media reports, actress Pooja Hegde, the leading lady of ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ has decided to step back from the project. A source close to the development revealed, “The shooting schedules of ‘Guntur Kaaram’ were constantly changing. The team was in the midst of shooting certain sequences, setting a timeframe for the next schedule, but it was repeatedly delayed due to various issues. Some portions that were already shot were being considered for reshooting. Additionally, there were frequent script changes, leading to several other people also opting out. After careful consideration, Pooja Hegde has chosen to part ways, citing date conflicts.”
The source further explained that Pooja is committed to working on multiple other films from June to December, and continuing with ‘Guntur Kaaram’ might disrupt her schedule for those projects.
In the meantime, Allu Arjun and Trivikram are set to reunite for an exciting entertainer later this year, with an official announcement expected soon. The duo previously collaborated on the blockbuster hit ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo.’ Trivikram’s upcoming film is anticipated to be Allu Arjun’s next project following ‘Pushpa 2,’ while actor Mahesh Babu is expected to join with S S Rajamouli for his film, tentatively titled “SSMB29.”
