Kochi: In a significant development for the entertainment industry, actors Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi have had their bans lifted by film organisations after reaching an agreement with the Producers Association. The ban, which had been imposed by the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) and the Producers Association in April, has been rescinded following successful negotiations between the parties involved.
The issues that led to the ban revolved around compensation and advance payments. Shane Nigam agreed to relax the excessive compensation demands he had made, while Sreenath Bhasi pledged to return the advance payment he had received for two film projects. This compromise paved the way for a resolution between the actors and the film producers.
In a positive turn of events, the film houses decided to allow both Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi to complete the dubbing of their respective films, despite the earlier friction that had resulted in the ban.
Sreenath Bhasi, in a gesture of conciliation, wrote an apology letter to the Producers Association, acknowledging any misunderstandings that may have arisen and expressing his willingness to work collaboratively in the future. On the other hand, Shane Nigam displayed a willingness to address the financial concerns raised by the producers, showcasing his commitment to the industry’s well-being.
In response to these efforts towards reconciliation, the Producers Association announced its decision to lift the ban imposed on both actors. This move not only signifies a positive step towards unity within the film fraternity but also reflects the significance of open dialogue and understanding in resolving conflicts.
