Mumbai: The eagerly awaited drama film “Emergency,” directed by Kangana Ranaut, based on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, will now hit screens in 2024. Kangana herself shared this update via her social media platform.

Initially slated for release on November 24, 2023, the makers have decided to postpone the release date, with the new schedule yet to be announced. “Emergency” marks Kangana’s debut as an independent director, although she had previously co-directed “Manikarnika” with Krish Jagarlamudi.
The film features a stellar cast, including Kangana Ranaut along side Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Visakh Nair, and Shreyas Talpade in prominent roles.
