Thiruvananthapuram: In a move against the growing issue of harassment over dowry, actress and state film award winner Vincy Aloshious has released a protest video, creatively presented in the form of a troll. The actor expressed her opposition to dowry in a different manner in the video. In the video she was featuring the character of Philomina, who played the role of Rose Mary’s grandma in the film Kouthuka Varthakal, released in 1990.
While the footage was originally recorded and posted two years ago, Vincy Aloshious chose to repost it in light of the persistent challenges related to dowry harassment. Vincy Aloshious, noting the relevance of the content amid recurring dowry issues, shared the video through the social media platform Instagram.
