Srinagar: The abrogation of Article 370 has brought a wave of peace and tranquilly to Kashmir. In the last year alone, more than 200 films, including regional language, Bollywood, and Hollywood productions, have been shot in Kashmir. The film revival in Kashmir has been significantly supported by the Jammu and Kashmir government’s film policy and simplified online permits.

Bollywood actor John Abraham recently shared a video on social media, recounting his shooting experiences and the beauty of Kashmir. The video went viral and was also shared on the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department’s social media page.

“Kashmir is a very beautiful place. We are shooting in Anantnag. It is an absolutely amazing place. We took 240 shots from here. We want to come to Kashmir not only for shooting but also for a vacation. More people should come here to see how beautiful this place is. The reception was overwhelming. Please everyone come to Kashmir; it’s amazing,” John Abraham said in the video.

In addition to appreciating the scenic beauty, Abraham emphasised the importance of preserving Kashmir’s natural environment. “When you come here, don’t litter the place or throw plastic because it’s a very beautiful place and should be kept clean,” he urged viewers. The actor also praised the warmth and hospitality of the Kashmiri people, expressing joy in collaborating with them on the film. John Abraham and his crew visited Kashmir for the shooting of Nikhil Advani’s film ‘Veda.’
