New Delhi: Gauri Khan, an interior designer and wife of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, received a notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday. The notice is part of an investigation into her association with a real estate company, which is allegedly implicated in embezzling Rs 30 crore.
According to media reports, Gauri Khan is the brand ambassador for the Lucknow-based real estate firm, Tulsiani Group, currently under scrutiny for financial irregularities. The Enforcement Directorate has taken note of the alleged involvement of the company in a fraud amounting to Rs 30 crore, duping both investors and financial institutions.
