Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Kalesh Ramanand, who shares the screen with Mohanlal in the movie ‘Neru’, which became a hit film, expressed his happiness over the film’s triumph during a media interaction following a screening.
“Personally, I am very happy,” said Kalesh Ramanand, reminiscing about his journey from starting as a junior artist in Mohanlal’s film ‘Spirit’ to finally getting the chance to act alongside the legendary actor after 11 years. He expressed his joy at being part of such a remarkable film and working with both Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph. As a fan, Kalesh also expressed his delight at witnessing Mohanlal’s powerful comeback.
The movie features Anaswara Rajan in a notable role, and Mohanlal plays the character of a special prosecutor handling a crucial case within the Thumba station limits. The trailer hints at the challenges that arise when dealing with a case in the court without practice. Priyamani, making a return to the screen after a hiatus, adds to the star-studded cast.
Apart from Mohanlal, the film includes Siddique, Jagadish, Anaswara Rajan, Santhi Mayadevi, and others. Produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, the screenplay is crafted by Santhi Mayadevi, known for her roles as a lawyer in films like ‘Drishyam 2’ and ‘Ganagandharvan.’
