Thiruvananthapuram: Actor and program host Mithun Ramesh expressed his admiration for the recently released film “Malaikottai Vaaliban,” stating that he was taken aback by the visual surprises it offered. Sharing his opinion on social media, Mithun highlighted the film’s unique storytelling approach, comparing it to folktales or Amar Chitra Katha, where drama unfolds not only through acting but also visually.
Mithun acknowledged that “Malaikottai Vaaliban” might not adhere to naturalistic acting expectations, but he emphasised the film’s appeal for those who appreciate storytelling in a distinctive form. He encouraged viewers to be patient, noting that the movie offers numerous sequences to enjoy.
“In my view, Malaikottai Vaaliban is a visual masterpiece. Being a form of storytelling like folktales or Amar Chitra Katha, there is drama in the acting and visuals. Don’t expect naturalistic acting there. It is a big challenge to present the film without giving him a chance to turn to it. The movie has a lot to offer for patient viewers. The music, many thrilling moments of actor Mohanlal, and some thrilling battle scenes are all very impressive. “Malaikote Vaaliban” is a great theatre experience.”Mithun shared.
